Please email us for detailed information and pricing.   Draft Horse Driving Workshop Have you always wanted to learn how to drive a team of horses? Maybe you would love to drive a team of horses pulling a wagon or carriage, or a single horse with a cart. Have you ever thought of using draft horses to help you with the farming? We offer four day workshops designed to help you learn this art at our 55 acre draft horse farm located 15 minutes north of Spokane on Hwy 395. Sign up to learn quickly and have some fun while you're at it! Work Shop Sessions Day 1 Basic familiarization with commands and how horses are trained to respond an handle. Horses will be harnessed by students and ground driven both in single and two horse team configuration. Day 2 and 3 Harnessing and actual field work using the implements and equipment for the jobs to be performed. Day 4 We will be hitching and driving wagons, with an informal potluck/wiener roast at the end of the day. Classes will be forming in Spring 2002. Please call or email for dates.
